Description:
Retired miners share memories and anecdotes from their coal mining days. One tells of a serious accident which broke his back. They talk about Ludlow briefly and the 1927 strike, as well as problems they encountered as union members. Notable people they mention are Shorty Martinez, Mother Jones, Jeff Farr, and Major Lester. They remember drinking wine on the weekends playing pool at the YMCA. Every camp had a baseball team, and there is much discussion about which team was the best.
