A handwritten blacksmith's ledger leaf belonging to Samuel Dorland, with hand drawn sketches and two manuscript letters by Annie Dorland and Phebe Congdon on verso. Ledger includes charges dating from 16 April 1774 to 18 July 1774. The leaf is titled "1774" and "Samuel Dorland", perhaps referring to Samuel Dorland (1721-1809) or his son also named Samuel (1757-1829). The authorial attributions for Annie Dorland and Phebe Congdon are also uncertain; for more information, see unpublished finding aid available in repository.
