Film 3 on the 10 Sefirot. Rabbi Zalman answers questions about the Kabbalistic views of Sefirot and deciphering on which vibratory level one is operating. He discusses the vessel of Malkuth, and offering to the prophet. He talks about the colors and vowels related to Sefirot. He instructs the group in movement, and they move in various slow dances in a circle to solemn music. He discusses telepathy, and dancing on the inside vs. outside. He then instructs the group to take any sentence or phrase in Hebrew or English and begin to repeat it. He asks group to put energy and intensity into this, then add movement and gesture, and to further engage in someone else’s harmony. Now do it as a love offering to God. Finally take over the prayer for the whole planet, for Hesed. The group chants with movement, then reads passages and prayers. He instructs another activity—to form groups of 7. Each person chooses one of the lower 7 Sefirot. He asks them to tune in to the awareness and wisdom which is not the individual, but the group mind. [The film breaks here.] Now the group is dancing and creating music using hand instruments. Several dance in the middle of a circle, and are encouraged by others. Zalman now draws trees on the flip chart. He illustrates the Sefirots and where they intersect. He talks about vowels and syllables and explains the correspondence between the Sefirot and the 4 worlds. He draws a tree and superimposes another on it. He discusses how one tree overlays the other until it comes down to the world Assiyah. He instructs the group on how to draw the 10 Sefirot within the tree, giving metaphors. He directs them to apply the template in every multiple of 7. Finally, the rabbi gives instruction on wrapping and putting on teffilin. He discusses the teffilin set and its meaning relating to the 10 Sefirot, and the 4 worlds of Kabbalah.
