Description:
The video begins with footage from a car, driving on a dirt road through the terrain of Huerfano County. The road gets rougher and they arrive at the ruins of the Pictou Mine. The interviewers are outdoors with two former miners and shots of what's left of the mine follow. At the mine entrance they find signs of recent digging and assume people who needed heating coal came to find some here. One miner finds an old sprag, which is used for stopping coal cars. They go back to the cars. Then they are at Turner Mine and there are images of buildings, train tracks, and coal cars as well as shots inside a building with gauges and equipment still in place. Ambient, casual talk or no audio throughout video.
