They also discuss with her the work that she was responsible for as a young girl after her father died, as well as her memories of the strike of 1913 and life in the tent colony. She discusses the daily life of the women and wives of the miners in the coal towns and points out family and friends from old tent colony photos. The interviewers look through photos of the militia, miners, and immigrants.
