(No transcript is available for this video.) Mr. Bisulco talks about the daily life of miners. He shows the transitions between headgears and lamps that were available to the miners over time with the change of technology. He elaborates on photographs of the town and the miners as well as tools available in the mine to blast coal with dynamite and powder. He also shows some of the tools that were used in the mines including bells, lamps, oil canisters, and photographs from within an old active mine. Mr. Bisculo discusses his work as Fire Chief and the technology he used to maintain safety in the mines. He shows his radio that is used to attract people from around the town as well as some of the other forms of early entertainment for the town.
