Discusses family life, school, crushes, influenza closures, WWI, and the Armistice. Ephemera laid in: Poem, "All to Myself," by W.D., sketches and doodles.; 74 pages.
Description: 
"Helen Carpenter (1900-1995) graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1922 and continued her education at Columbia University. She worked at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the College of Education teachers appointment office beginning in 1922, then served as associate director beginning in 1952 and director between 1957 and 1968. Carpenter was the recipient of numerous awards including the Robert L. Stearns Award (1965) and the President's Citation in 1968."--from RMOA Web site.
