Manuscript documenting the sale of a slave named Antony by Benjamin Isbell of Saint Augustine, Florida to Peter and Hanna Bumong for the price of 20 pounds sterling, dated October 26, 1782, signed in the presence of two witnesses, William [Janson?] and John Wear.
Description: 
"Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin Isbell inhabitant of Saint Augustine hereby jointly and severally grant, bargain, sell, assign and make over a negro named Antony and by these presents have granted, bargained, sold, assigned and made over unto Peter and Hannah Bumong of aforesaid as a full and ample manner ... in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds sterling good and lawfull money of Great Brittain."
Description: 
On verso, a second sale is documented of "Anthony" by Hanah Bumong to James Rivers on December 14, 1782, signed in the presence of two witnesses, G. Dalsh and William Hoyer.
