Stan Brakhage plays Paul Verlaine's 'Ariettes oublieÌes No. 3' and reads Verlaine's 'En Sourdine.' He plays Claude Debussy's 'En sourdine.' Brakhage discusses Nicolas Flagello's 'Clair de Lune' and plays it and then plays Debussy's 'Clair de Lune.' Brakhage tells a story about his childhood. He plays Stephen Foster's 'Beautiful Dreamer.' Then he plays a clip of a phone call between him and his mother, Clara Brakhage. Brakhage plays a clip of Robert Creeley reading 'A Gift of Great Value.'
