From this topic, and questions from the audience, stems the rest of the discussion which includes the difficulty some people have in breaking down walls between religions, the internationalization of religions, limbic system responses to liturgy and tradition, and the use of languages in liturgy that are unknown by the individual reciting the prayer. They conclude with a 5-10 minute meditation. The video then jumps to Bataan Faigao who lectures for one hour on the five excellencies and his teacher, Cheng Man-ch'ing. He provides an overview of his teacher using the five excellencies as his discussion rubric.
