Work Description:
The library was opened to students on the morning of January 4, 1904, so this shows the interior shortly after it was opened. Glory Colorado has this picture on page l4l and identifies the man as Librarian Alfred Whittaker. Note how the space is lighted by natural light from the overhead skylight and note the electric lights on the tables and around the skylights. Four students are studying at the right and one at the far left. The negative is not very clear. This space Is now the Little Theater.
