Work Description:
This is the Nurses Residence which stood west of the new hospital on the site now occupied by Sewall Hall. At the far left one can see the Boulder Sanatarium with its large porch and dull smokestack and a nearby house that is on Hillside Road and stands in 1973. To the right, through the trees, is the Catholic Church that stood at 13th and Mapleton and in front of it is a sign painted on a building that says "Curran Opera House".
