This shows Hale from the Dam -- showing the bridge. Taken before 1910. The REVERSE refers to the plate being taken backwards in the camera. Apparently JRB did this occasionally. This reversal can not be corrected in contact printing but can be corrected in enlargements. The small rectangular stone holding pond at the west approach of the bridge is visible at the left
