Latin Bible, Old Testament (Psalm 144: 21 - Proverbs 1: 1). Paris, c. 1250-75. 232 x 157 mm. Parchment. Single leaf. Double column; each column 162 x 48 mm.; 51 lines to a column; ruled and bounded in plummet. Historiated P on verso, depicting Solomon instructing his son Rehoboam, on a blue frame with a diapered pattern of squares and diamonds in light blue and rust. Large illuminated J on verso and other smaller illumi¬nated initials on recto.
