Mid. s. xv. 186 x 130 mm. Parchment. Single column; 105 x 63 mm.; 15 lines. Foliate borders in outer recto and verso margins, with blue thistle, red berries, and white flowers. Numerous 1-line (and one 2-line) gilded initials with white scrollwork, on blue and mauve grounds; line fillers in blue, mauve, and gold; rubricated headings. Provenance: Measurements are identical to a leaf, with minia-ture, from a Parisian Book of Hours, sold Sotheby's, 26 November 1985, lot 67 and again Sotheby's, 20 June 1997, lot 14; two leaves, Boston, Endowment for Biblical Research, MS Leaves 27-28 (Oliver, no. 98).
