The speakers here discuss what it means to be a conscientiousness objector in regards to war. The first speaker defines it as one who refuses to be in allegiance with military service. However this person can and often will find an alternative civilian manner in which to make up for this refusal of participation in the service. The reasons for refusal could be due to religious training or beliefs, which are strong enough to place a sense of responsibility upon the person to not enter the armed forces. The choice deals with what the majority believes on war versus moral imperatives.
