From 1956-1959 there was a founding of a new more progressive middle east – changing with experiences to benefits the middle class and raise the standard of living; thus, contributing to better health, longer lives, and more education. The speaker argues that Arab socialism is much different than the Marxists socialism, noted differences being: a face of nationalism connected with industrialization, health programs, land reforms, and expanding education. In addition, he speaks of industry, foreign aid, manufacturing, and private enterprise for economic development.
