Work Description:
|
a. English---a flat low bonnet with a beret-like crown. The spreading brim is slightly upturned. A single plume is placed along the brim which is studded with jewels. About 1509-46. b. English---a bonnet with narrow brim and full close gathered crown. Trimmed with plumes and cord. Hair cut and beard trimmed. About 1566. c. English---beret-like bonnet with a small brim trimmed with a single plume, an ostrich tip. About 1550.
