Work Description:
|
a. Italian---a lady of rank with hair bound in a fillet of pearls and cloth of gold. 1430. b. Italian---hair drawn back and bound in a cap with a long veil falling over shoulders. About 1450. c. Italian---hair parted in the center, drawn over ears to form long braid which is bound in a ribbon or tape. A fillet of gold and jewels covers the crown of the head. About 1490.
