She talks about her experiences at university and working at the Hillel house with Zalman. She also talks about taking the Hebrew Literature course from Zalman and how it was a notable course; 02:30 Evita talks about how close her family was to Zalman’s family and how they would visit each other’s homes. She knew all Zalman’s kids well; 04:22 Evita talks about Zalman’s interest in the three catalogs. Zalman also helped her make a tallit for her marriage; 05:22 Evita remembers Zalman was not the cleanest person. She mentions how she continued to see him after he left Winnipeg.
