Unidentified creator. Film with intertitles describing pineapple planation in Hawaii. Includes images of farmers clearing stones and plowing, planting pineapple with propagated seedlings, packaging and transportation processes, and factory workers preparing a shipment. Also includes scenes of factory workers on break playing the ukulele, machine demonstrations of pineapple juicer and pineapple juice canning, and a text explaining how to differentiate a "sucker" and "slip" on a pineapple plant. Describes women factory workers from Japan, China, Portugal, Azores, Korea and the Philippines, and shows their lodgings.
