Title card reads “Featuring: The Saturday morning art classes under the sponsorship of The Junior League.” Another title card reads “Forward: Every winter in Binghamton, New York the aspiring young artists of the city eagerly prepare for the Saturday morning art classes. The following motion pictures are a record of the 1950 program--.” 00:00:52 Children are show leaving their houses and walking towards the Binghamton Civic Arts Center to attend their art classes. Kids gather paints and supplies to work with. 00:02:33 Title card reads “Water color class No. 1” Children are shown sitting at small tables and painting or drawing on large sheets of paper. The teacher shows off each student’s work to the entire class. 00:06:24 Title card reads “Sketching class.” Children are shown sitting at desks and sketching on paper. The instructor walks around to see what each student is working on. 00:08:17 Title card reads “Oil painting class.” Adults prepare paints and other materials for the students. The students add paint to their palettes and pin pieces of paper to a board to paint on. 00:14:45 Film ends. 00:15:01 End of recording.
