Transcribed from item: Taku Glacier 9/16/32, East end of the glacier front. The extensive patches of bare rock adjoining the ice will serve as a point from which to determine future advances or recessions of the ice front. These bare patches show distinctly in the aerial views taken by the Navy Department in 1926 and 1929. Photo taken from the launch. "2 Tree Camera Station" is located on a rock point at the edge of the ice front. By B. F. Heintzleman.
