Transcribed from item: Documentation notes: 1972-3-2a to 1972-3-2c: Front of the Meren Glacier from survey point MG (20000, 10000) near the CGE base camp. The approximate position of Harrer's 1962 cairn is marked on 2a. 1962-3-1 taken from about 200m south-east. Compare with 1976-2-1 from the same position. 1972. All photographs taken between late December 1971 and early March 1972 by the First Australian Universities Carstensz Glaciers Expedition.
