Zalman took her to a youth retreat for Orthodox Jewish kids. She states she shared a bed with Zalman’s daughter at the retreat; 03:00 Carol mentions she was always curious of Jewish culture and talks about her parent’s background; 06:00 Carol talks about how she was interested in mysticism and would read books about it; 08:00 Carol talks about a concert she went to in Iowa where she met Zalman; 12:00 Carol talks about Zalman as a devotional person and how active his household was.
